Things that only happen in movies!

Hello!

I have started my courses again and with an exam on Monday I have been revising like a maniac so sorry about my absences! When I take breaks from revising I find myself watching films, everyone loves a good movie to cuddle up to and get to sucked up in the plot that they dream about it the night after! I know I have. However I found things in most movie's, that only happen in films, yet never in real life! So I thought I would write about them and see if you spot them too!

To kick this off I'm going to start with answering the phone! Firstly they do not look at who is actually calling they just put it straight to there ear to work out who it is. I always have to look! If I get an unknown number I put my phone on silent and in my draw in case its that guy from scream telling me how many days I have left to live! shudder. Another thing I spotted was they never say hello when answering the phone! They just wait for the other person to start speaking before they start. If I didn't say hello when answering, both of us will be standing in silence to each other for a very long time ha-ha!

Horror movie's I can not stand! I spend the whole time behind the cushion and go to sleep with the light on for at least a week! Now in films when they hear a bang or footsteps they ask “Who's there?” or “Hello?”. I mean who does that?! If I heard someone in my house and I was alone, I would climb out of my window, regardless of what I was wearing and sprint until I get to a shop or something. (I'm paranoid I know).

Fight scenes crease me up, 5 guys against one? Your other opponents will wait patiently to attack you one by one by dancing around you in a threatening manner until you have defeated their predecessor. As for guns? One guy can shoot all the men with one bullet, yet all the men can not aim and shoot at one guy? Makes me laugh!

Locking the car or door when they leave. If we didn't lock our cars or doors when we left we would be robbed and stolen from! All it takes is a little tick tick and your all sorted, but nooo not in the movie's! There too cool for that, leaving the car door open like he assumes someone is going to spot it and shut it for him the lazy so and so.

Anyway ramble finished I felt I haven't blogged in a while and I enjoy doing it! I'm painting my nails on Sunday, saying that I may get too keen and paint on Saturday. (Cheeky!) So I will upload a tutorial on how I will do them this time! I always forget oops. I also realised I put loads of explication marks! But I sound so boring and un-enthusiastic when I put a full stop. Look how boring it looks. Boring. Boring. Boring. (Shut up Rosie)

Thanks for reading!

  1. Ugh I know the feeling! Just watching a movie and saying 'Yeah, as if that would really happen!' happens to me all the time!

  2. Haha I agree with all those!
That reminds me of this thing I found on pinterest that says:
"I love how in scary movies the person always yells out, 'Hello?' as if the killer is gonna be like, 'Yeah, I'm in the kitchen, want a sandwich?'"
