Trainer nail art!

DSC03453

Hello!
So I've started the gym and have created a bucket list of what I'm going to do before I die! That's all really, I'm very boring ha-ha!

Anyway these nails are simple ish to do. All the base colours are Barry M, apart from my thumb which is China Glaze. A lot of the photos of etempts of these look better than these but I had trouble with the bottom line on all of them!
However I do like the effect they have!

And that's it! I may have to conjure something interesting to photograph this weekend so i do a more interesting blog teehee!

Thanks for reading!

Random nail art!

PicMonkey Collage

Hello!

I change my nail polish art fairly regularly but often don't post about it! Either because I cannot be bothered, or I don't know what to say about it or I just don't like it! Here are two I have done recently but not posted yet!

DSC03409

Firstly I deeply apologise about the polish at the side of my nails! I think its such a hassle and almost always take pictures straight after painting them so I don't take of the polish till later! Bad blogger! *slaps hand*. Anyway these were very simple to do, just orange nails, you can see what to do in black on all fingers, and then Garfield's face on the thumb. I didn't get on with these nails as I don't think the colour suits my skin tone but give them a go they are cute!

These are the Minions from the film Despicable Me, and I think these are adorable! I smudged the eye on my pinkie but cleared up the out side of my nail woo! These were easy to do with black nail polish on a yellow base with blue tips! Just so cute!

These are Winnie the Pooh nails! Very simple to do with blue backgrounds and original Winnie the pooh pictures such as the bee and the flower! The thumb was my friends inspiration of birds in a cloud. I took this on my phone so sorry about the quality I must have forgot to take a proper picture on my camera!

DSC03419
2. On your fingers paint a line of green on the base of the nail to create the grass. On the white finger add some black cow splodges. We will do the thumb in a bit.
DSC03422
3. Paint a thin yellow line just above the green on the three blue fingers.
DSC03427
4. On the blue fingers add some white splodges to represent clouds. Once dry, coat with clear polish and your fingers are finished!
DSC03420
5. On your blue thumb, create a black box.
DSC03425
6. Around the black box, draw a thin yellow line surrounding the box.
DSC03428
7. Paint some small white splodges surrounding the dot to become clouds.
DSC03429
8. Add a B, &, and a J for the Ben & Jerry’s logo. Once dry coat with clear polish and the thumb is done!

I love these simple nails, as do i love Ben & Jerry’s ice cream! I was debating putting some mini brownies or mini cookies on my nails, so if you want something a bit more fancy and original try that!

I took some photos in the snow on my camera i use to photograph my nails so it isn't the best quality but the view out of my window is stunning, especially in the snow so i thought i would share them with you!

Film strip nail art TUTORIAL!

DSC03393
Hello!

I can hear old women fainting and little screaming at the fact I am uploading a day early and I have done a tutorial! Okay maybe not but I'm super exited anyway. I got inspiration from a Youtuber called Packapunchpolish and of course mine aren't even as close to amazing as hers but I've given it a good go and am very happy with the outcome! Without further a do here's the tutorial!

1) DSC03364
Here's my nails to start off with. My base coat is by BarryM. Wait for this to dry.

2) DSC03366
Then coat your nails in a white polish. I used Number 7 but I need to get a new bottle as its very streaky.

3) DSC03370
Using a black polish and a small brush, do a line at the top and bottom of your nail like shown, and lines randomly in-between at these will be the strips. As you can see I don't do lines very well!

4) DSC03373
Fill in these black lines a the top and bottom with small rectangle white shapes.

5) DSC03377
I didn't have time to take a picture after every colour, but starting with the yellow polish, blend to green, to light blue, to dark blue, to purple, to red and finally orange. This is done by painting the colour on hold your nail, the next colour on the other side of your nail and mixing the colours in between, or if that's too difficult, put a black line in-between like strips! (Cheat!)

6) DSC03371
While waiting for it to dry you can admire my cupcake pyjama bottoms from Primark!

7) DSC03398
After wiping the most of the polish of the sides of your nails, add some subtle glitter to the colour, and after that's dry coat with transparent coating because otherwise it will run off!

8) DSC03396
I added a Disney Mickey mouse ears to my thumb. I don't know why. Spur of the moment. Don't judge me Winking smile

DSC03393
And that's it! I think they look super cool however unprofessional I am ha-ha! If you have any ideas for me to do don't forget to comment below and I will reply! Thanks for reading!

P.S. This is why I don't photograph my right hand! Its like a disaster zone on there I don't know how I do it, just talent for mucking up that hand ha-ha!DSC03400

My strawberry nails!

DSC03358

Hello!

So after wiping off my Pacman nails *shudders* I started fresh and went for a summer fruit! I have put the green top on the wrong way round for the photo but give me a chance I'm still learning!

After painting my Pacman nails so badly I felt that I was no good at nail art and I should give up! I do make mountains out of molehills but this made me miserable because I love painting my nails so much! I looked at the past nail art I have done and relaxed. A mistake made is a lesson learnt. Of course I will start to become more professional with clean sides of the nails (Oops) and better lighting and photographs, but I'm here to inspire you and to see what an amateur can achieve! I adore painting my nails and I'm not going to let little mistakes stop my fun so don't worry the nails will just keep on coming!

Yet again all the polishes were done in Rio Professional Nail Art Kit! Apart from the base on the thumb which is white from number 7.

Have you made any nail disasters? Let me know!

My Pacman nails!

DSC03346
Hello!

I'm not very happy with the outcome of these nails. I think the alien doesn't look very good and you cant really see what the circuit looks like because the colours are too similar! Also I cant apologise enough at the excess black nail polish at the sides of my fingers! I tried using a cotton bud but its very stubborn ha-ha! I will have to do the washing up soon I guess! Ahh well it was worth a try.

Polishes used were all from the Rio Professional Nail Art Kit! (Hmm its so lovely!)
I have just set up an Instagram account (*cough cough* rosiesnailart *cough cough*) and found out so many people that do nail art too! Of course I've seen people that enjoy nail art before but there are literally hundreds on Instagram! I got all over exited and commented and liked all night long and forgot about my blog! Darn!

I've just stated college again so I will be doing blogs in the evening and on the weekends!
Thanks for reading!

P.S Comment on what nail art I should try next! The more creative the better!

First ever nail art attempt! Pixar nails

DSC03330
from left to right: Monsters Inc, Incredibles, Walle, Toy Story, Cars
Two different lighting was used in these pictures I couldn't decide which I preferred!DSC03322
Hello!

I have just brought the Rio Professional Nail Art Kit and have completely fell in love with it! I was up all last night trying out different effects and styles and I may do a review on the product later because I just love it to pieces!

These are pictures of my very first attempt at using the kit to have nail art fingers but as scruffy as they may look to a professional, I am very proud of them! I love all Pixar films but I have chosen out of them to do my favourites on my nails! The easiest to do was the Walle sign as all I had to do was a big red dot with an E in the middle! I don’t have a hardest however because I find the challenging ones more fun to do and a prouder outcome in the end!

I will start doing tutorials soon I promise! Just let me fiddle about a bit so I know what my strengths are Winking smile
